Boiled Egg and Asparagus

With a preparation time of less than 5 minutes, this is the King of easy egg recipes. We recommend a boiling time of approximately 4 minutes to ensure a rich, gooey yolk for your asparagus spears to sink into.



  1. Fill two pans with water and bring to the boil
  2. Cook the asparagus in a pan of boiling salted water for 3-5 mins until tender
  3. At the same time, boil the eggs in a pan for approx. 4 mins
  4. Place the egg in an egg cup
  5. Drain the asparagus and place alongside the egg
  6. Drizzle with olive oil to serve
